  It's not that I disliked it but 2 stars because it can be a little deceiving. When walking towards the building it has a very native look to it. When you read the menu, there is a lot of things named after a lot of famous native names. But when you read the descriptions, you really have to wonder if this is what they really ate. I mean you could have just called it a hamburger with anything on it. There was nothing traditional about the place except for all the wonderful artifacts. Don't expect any Bannock. We got in right before the rush so we were seated and got to order quickly. But when the rush showed up we quickly realized there was only one waitress. She was real good and attentive but it was hard to not feel sorry for her to see how hard she had to work taking care of every table in the place. But she did a real good job.

  Love the staff. But they've switched some of the menu items. Which would be great for some but I remember almost all homemade, so seemed a little bit less great than it was before. The store still creates an other world ambience with carvings from older generation carvers in styles nobody does anymore. A real treat to sit amongst history that is forgotten. True salish style.

  Side organic salad includes bugs. The side organic salad wasn't very fresh so I started picking pieces out and found a dead moth. I advised the waitress, she apologized and asked if I wanted a new one. My stomach was turned so got fries instead. They offered a 10% discount for my meal which is an insult. My husband had to argue and we eventually got 30% off my meal. It's pathetic that this restaurant didn't just clear my bill completely. It would cost them little and would have avoided this review. We will not be back. Also they do have good hot sauce but we refused to buy any because of their greed.

  Amazing food, good service, average prices. We went for the breakfast and learned our lesson - if it's a weekend, there'll be LINES even at 10 am. So plan accordingly. We gave up and came back on a working day and it was perfect. They are famous for their breakfast but be aware that they serve it only until 11 am. Lunch menu is great as well.
